Sails and Rigging

She has new (2026) North 3di Ocean Main, self tacking Jib and Reacher - some call it a Genoa but it's really a reaching sail as the clew is higher than a Genoa and is for 60 - 120 apparent. There is also a Gennaker in a new (2025) C-teck sock with inflatable ring. This is so much easier to store and use than the original fibreglass ring.

The Solent rig makes it so easy to change gears quickly. She is a real pleasure to sail. She'll go dead down wind 170P - 170S by furling the main, centering the boom and unfurling both headsails. No pole is required.

The standing rigging was replaced in 2025. This is now a 10yr insurance requirement for most policies.

The halyards and backstay bridle were replaced with dynex dux in 2026. I also replaced the backstay tensioner with a Selden hydraulic ram. This makes it so much easier to tension the rig and to release than the standard ball screw tensioner.

She also has a carbon pole (2026).

Living

She's a very quiet boat whether at anchor or sailing. You live on her rather than in her. She's got all the mod cons, washer/dryer, large freezer, drawer and top/bottom fridges plus a cooler in the cockpit.

She's got a 240 litre p/h fully manual watermaker. A reliable watermaker is a must for extended cruising in countries where automatic pressure switches and other such items that fail in the automatic watermakers are very hard to come by.

There is a 32inch Samsung Frame HD TV in the saloon and a smaller Samsung in the master cabin with 12v Starlink, boat Wi-Fi and Fusion stereo.

Aircon in all living areas apart from the aft cabin.

3 heads, 2 fresh water and the aft one salt water.

There's a dive compressor in the bow locker.

Electrics

She's 230v with a Victron Induction Isolation Transformer for power into the boat and a Quattro 5000 dual circuit Inverter/Charger.

220 amps charge means that the 1200 amp AGM (new 2024) house bank charges quickly.

C-Zone System linked to Victron Cerbo and the Raymarine NMEA network.

The boat is 12v with the bow area - furlers, anchor winch (new 2024) and bow thruster 24v.

There is also a 24v stern thruster.

Solar

There are 5 100w removable flexible panels on the bimini roof.

Navigation

3 Raymarine Axiom chartplatters, 5 data displays, 3 autopilot head units, fishfinder, log, AIS, VHF.

Autopilot is a Raymarine ACU400 with a EVC-1 computer. Jeffa pancake electric sprocket drive motor.

Other Electrics
